biography
Half Ukrainian Half African-American, Kaya Coleman was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Some of her credits include supporting roles in Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart (2016), The Sinners (2020) and Come True (2020).
Kaya graduated from high school with a French bilingual diploma with honors and from university with a BSc in Medical Molecular Biochemistry.
She is daughter of former CFL star Marvin Coleman and has been the recipient of various athletic awards. She has over six years of experience competing as a cheerleader and dances hip hop, heels and gaga.
Most recently, Kaya can be seen as Dee in Zac Locke's directional debut Float (2022) and as Tara in Dangerous Game (2022) directed by Sean McNamara.
She trains in Vancouver BC with Mcilroy & Associates, Rogues West and at Harbour Dance Centre.
