Kaya Kimberley Coleman Prokopchuk (born July 31st, 1998), also known as Kaya Coleman, is a Canadian-American actor and model. She is the daughter of Candace Prokopchuk and former CFL star Marvin Coleman.


Most recently, Kaya can be seen as Dee in #Float, written & directed by Zac Locke, and as Tara in Dangerous Game, directed by Sean McNamara.


Throughout high school, Kaya took after her dad and received various athletic awards for basketball and track & field. She also competed for six years as an All-Star Cheerleader. In 2016, Kaya went to the University of British Columbia in Kelowna, BC, Canada to study Medical Molecular Biochemistry as a Major Entrance Scholar. 

Following the completion of her degree, Kaya moved to Vancouver where she completed the Rogues West Ensemble Acting Program (2021) and trained with Mcilroy and Associates. Other acting credits include supporting roles in Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart (2016), The Sinners (2020) and Come True (2020).


In 2020, Kaya signed with Alaeria and has since modeled for Lululemon, Arc'teryx, Oak + Fort, Elate Cosmetics and Native Shoes, among others. Some of her creative work has been published in magazines such as YRAN and Malvie

Kaya plays Jolie Dumont in Amazon Freevee's highly anticipated drama series called Beyond Black Beauty, which is inspired by the novel Black Beauty.
